All the locals know Thursday’s are Burger Day at the Southport General Store. This tradition was kept vibrantly alive for so many years thanks to Michael Beane. You could always count on seeing him out there, rain or shine, with any one of his many “friends”. We think of him extra on Thursday’s as we carry on his legacy.

Come have a burger in honor of Mike on Thursday, May 9th. A celebration of life will be held in his honor on Saturday, May 11th from 1-4pm at the Boothbay Harbor Opera House.
